We are thrilled to be working with Picturehouse on a series of family friendly workshops.
Upcoming Dates
Families will get to meet the creative team behind The Night Zookeeper, watch a special screening of the first episodes, and through a mix of storytelling, drawing and creative writing, be helped to tap into their imaginations to come up with their own ideas for what new characters or storylines they would like to see in the show.
The Night Zookeeper team will lead them through a series of fun tasks that will see parents and children alike get creative and come up with new characters, plot points or dialogue for the show, and get an insight into how such ideas are developed to be adapted into the show.
The workshop will feature a mixture of storytelling, drawing and creative writing, to encourage kids (and parents!) to contribute their own ideas for the animated series by inventing characters and settings and writing scripts.
Ticket prices: £5 per person. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Workshops at Cinema City Picturehouse, Norwich on Sat 27 April at 10.30am and 2pm
Workshops at Picturehouse at FACT, Liverpool on Sat 4 May at 10.30am and 1.30pm

About Night Zookeeper
Night Zookeeper is an award-winning website helping children to imagine, create and write more than ever before, a series of adventure books with Oxford University Press, and an animated TV series on Sky.
About Picturehouse Cinemas
Formed in 1989 Picturehouse Cinemas own and operate 25 cinemas and programme a further 40 venues across the UK.
Picturehouse Cinemas are located in city centres and are architecturally unique venues that provide café bars, restaurants and live events alongside the traditional movie-going experience. Their programmes encompass quality mainstream, family, art-house, independent, foreign-language and documentary films.
Picturehouse Cinemas were a pioneer of live satellite cine-casts in the UK, bringing non-film content such as Q&As and talks, concerts, art exhibitions, the New York Met Opera, the Royal Shakespeare Company, the National Theatre and the Bolshoi Ballet to community cinema screens.
