As summer is in full swing, you may worry your child isn’t getting the writing practice they may need. Luckily, there are plenty of writers’ competitions your child can get involved in. This is a great way to keep them entertained while simultaneously ensuring their writing skills don’t decline! Here are 5 Young Writers Competitions to try this year with your child:

Night Zookeeper - Star Writing

Night Zookeeper hosts weekly writing competitions that your child can win to be published! Every Sunday, several winners are chosen and their work is then published on our website for others to read. Each week, the theme is different, ranging from writing a story about a new magical animal to writing about an adventure. Night Zookeeper’s star writing provides our writers with cultural knowledge while enhancing their writing skills. It also helps writers with their time management as it highlights the importance of following a deadline. For more information, check out Star Writing on Night Zookeeper!
