We’ve been delivering story-telling assemblies and creative workshops to get students producing fantastic scripts, amazing characters, and awesome sound FX that could be featured in future episodes of the Night Zookeeper animated series on Sky TV.

During the visits, students get to work on our website show.nightzookeeper.com, completing hundreds of different writing and drawing challenges that can inspire even the most reluctant writers. There’s lots of offline challenges too!

We’ll also bring special Night Zookeeper prizes to award students on the day!

Some of your students work could then be animated into the Sky Kids TV series, just like Christian below!

Our New Look Animal Dens: All you need to know…

As you may have seen, we recently launched a new look for the Animal Dens (where each animal lives) in Night Zookeeper. This aims to make it simpler for your child to use and to give them more choice in the activities they do. However, we know that with any change, it can take a little getting used to so we’ve put this guide together to help anyone who is wondering how to use it. Don’t worry, all the same features are still there!

Earth Day Writing Prompts

Earth Day Writing Prompts

The Night Zoo is a very magical world indeed, but we want children to recognise the magic of the world they already live in. These Earth Day prompts were designed to try and do just that, by getting kids to engage with their imaginations and write creatively about nature, the Earth and the environment. Hopefully it will encourage them to think a little deeper about what the word “Earth” means to them, whilst developing the key skills they need to be a star writer.
