Nightzookeeper.com is a website that celebrates children’s creativity.

Based on the adventures of the Night Zookeeper and the fantastical animals he meets on his daily rounds, the website encourages children to invent their own magical animals and to use illustrations and stories to bring them to life. We firmly believe that a child’s imagination deserves freedom. Therefore, our aim is to engage children in schools and at homes across the world and to enable them to explore the infinite possibilities of a piece of paper and not just to rely on computers and television for their imagination.

By participating in the adventures of the Night Zookeeper children paint, draw, sing and play their way through an ever evolving online game designed by children all around the world. The Night Zoo seeks to show children that, like a pencil or a crayon, the World Wide Web is a tool for creative expression and not just a destination for mindless entertainment.

The Night Zoo is available online to explore for free 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. However, to pay the wages of our Night Zookeepers who care for the animals in the Night Zoo, we do ask for a small fee for those that want to become official Night Zookeepers and have exclusive access and use of Nightzookeeper.com.
